Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: 02 Feb 2026

Welcome to Events Tickets New Zealand. By purchasing a ticket or using our platform, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Nature of Our Service

Events Tickets New Zealand is an online ticketing and marketing platform. We facilitate the sale of tickets on behalf of Third-Party Event Organisers. We are not the event producers and are not responsible for the organization, management, or execution of the events listed on our site. Our services may be provided in conjunction with our related entity, Events Tickets Australia.

2. Ticket Purchases and Payments

  • Final Sale: All ticket sales are final. Once booked, tickets cannot be exchanged, cancelled, or refunded except as required by the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act.

  • Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely via Stripe. By using our service, you agree to be bound by Stripe’s terms of service. Events Tickets New Zealand does not store your full credit card details.

  • Booking Fees: A non-refundable booking/service fee is applied to each transaction. This fee covers the cost of our technology and administrative processing and is not refundable in the event of a cancellation or postponement.

3. Event Admission and Conduct

  • Entry Requirements: A valid printed or digital ticket must be presented for entry. The Organiser reserves the right to request valid photo ID to verify the ticket holder’s identity.

  • Arrival: We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior to the event start time to ensure a seamless entry process.

  • Alcohol Policy: Unless otherwise stated, events are 100% alcohol-free. Possession or consumption of alcohol may lead to immediate eviction without a refund.

  • Right of Admission: The Event Organiser reserves the right of admission. Entry may be refused, or patrons may be evicted for misconduct, illegal activity, or any behavior that threatens the safety or enjoyment of others.

4. Cancellations, Postponements, and Refunds

  • Organiser Responsibility: The Event Organiser is solely responsible for the event schedule, venue, and artist lineup. Any decisions regarding cancellations or refunds are made by the Organiser.

  • Refund Process: In the event of a cancellation, the Event Organiser is 100% responsible for the refund of the ticket price.

  • Unforeseen Events: Events Tickets New Zealand is not liable for refunds or damages resulting from “Acts of God,” natural disasters, or other uncertain situations that lead to event changes or cancellations.

5. Data Use and Marketing Consent

By ticking the consent box during the checkout process, you agree to the following:

  • Marketing Communications: You authorize Events Tickets New Zealand (and our related entity, Events Tickets Australia) to use your contact details to send you updates, newsletters, and promotional offers regarding upcoming events.

  • Third-Party Data Sharing: You authorize us to share your name and contact information with the specific Event Organiser of the ticket you have purchased. The Organiser may use this data for event management, safety, and their own marketing purposes.

  • Opt-Out: You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the “unsubscribe” link. Note that Events Tickets New Zealand is not responsible for the independent marketing practices of third-party Event Organisers; you must contact them directly to opt-out of their specific lists.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • Events Tickets New Zealand shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage (including indirect or consequential loss) suffered by a patron at an event.

7. Changes to Terms

Events Tickets New Zealand and the Event Organiser reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions, ticket prices, or event arrangements at any time without prior notice.
